The Zoning Board of Adjustment granted the variance for 2 Leverington Avenue, also known as 100 Leverington. This is the property at the end of Main Street which now houses antique and furniture shops. The zoning will allow for 56 apartment units to be build behind the current structure. This will bring close to 100 more cars into the commuter congestion along Main Street. Manayunk Neighborhood Council presented opposition to this zoning at the hearing. |
